Modernist Fashion in SL

As a modernist you are most easily identifiable as such when wearing a sharp suit and parka; but sometimes you want to chill in something much more relaxed but something that still stamps you as a Mod.

Modernist iconography, the Union Jack, Targets et al play a huge role in define everyday wear as a piece of modernist fashion. This cool green top shows that brilliantly. Ostensibly its nothing more than a plain green top; but, the additions of a target emblazoned with the word Vespa and some [less than distinct in the snap] Lambretta labelling on the sleeve adds a distinct modernist look to an everyday item. And, it stamps you out as a probable virtual mod; why probable? Because, fashion in Second Life is fluid, looks change daily hourly with some fashionistas; therefore, there is no guarantee the mod is a mod, could just be a fashionista seeking to get ahead of the trend. Likewise there is no guarantee the hippy looking dude is not a Modernist, virtual Mods and NeoMods transcend the confines of the real world. You can choose to be the kind of Mod you want to be in the virtual world.

The top is available from Tobacco Dock along with several other cool Modernist styled items.
